UMSL SUCCEED is developing and implementing an online training series. They will focus on self-advocacy for employment and educational accommodation and support, accessing community-based services, and engaging in legislative advocacy. The online training series will be informed by people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in Missouri and project team from UMSL Succeed program. This project will equip people with IDD and their supporters (e.g., family members, caregivers, educators, service providers) with knowledge and strategies to build partnerships and support advocacy movements in Missouri. Transition-age students and adults with IDD are the target population of this training series.
