Yesterday, Governor Parson signed all but one of the remaining Truly Agreed and Finally Passed (TAFP) bills into law.

The Missouri Developmental Disabilities Council (MODDC) tracked legislation in each of our four priority areas through the legislative session.

Of those priority areas, “Equitable Community Inclusion” saw some exciting legislation get signed into law yesterday by Governor Parson.

We are pleased to share the Ticket to Work and Employment First legislation has been signed into law. The language was in SB45 and SB106.

After years of effort from stakeholders and policymakers, these two bills have been signed into law and will go into effect on August 28, 2023.

Congratulations to the self-advocates, families, and policymakers who advocated for these important barriers to be removed!
